Shanling Su
Educational and Developmental Psychologist
Shanling is a registered psychologist with a background in the Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology. Shanling has worked with children and families in various settings, including indigenous health communities, education, Not-For-Profit and private practice. She has experience in supporting children and young adults with developmental delays and/or complex trauma backgrounds. Shanling’s experience also includes working closely with schools and community-based organisations, and she has always worked collaboratively with other health practitioners, including Occupational Therapists, Speech/Language Pathologists, GPs, Paediatricians and Psychiatrists.
Shanling’s approach is strongly influenced by attachment and trauma theories, and she is also a registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator and Parents Under Pressure therapist. She is able to administer psychometric assessments relating to learning difficulties, developmental delays and attentional/concentration.
As a formal international student and first-generation immigrant, Shanling values the opportunities to support families and individuals with Cultural and Linguistic Diverse backgrounds navigating in a foreign country.
